Earth Day on the Rez

The Metro Leos helped Keep the Rez Beautiful (KRB) plan its 2nd annual Earth Day on the Rez on which was held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event featured Earth Day learning stations posted along the braille trail stops located in the Reservoir Botanical Garden. The Metro Leos helped to plan and create some of the children's activities at the event such as the Camellia coloring station, the How Plants Protect Themselves matching game, the thumbprint art activity, and provided the scavenger hunt and guide map handed out at the event. There were many groups that came together to help put on this event and make it a fun and educational day for the community.
